WHO: Virginia Chapter Presidents, VCOC Reps, Legislative Reps and other chapter leaders.  15 chapters were represented. (A VCOC goal, approved at our January meeting is for all 18 chapters to be represented at both the main meeting and the legislative break-out session).

DIRECTIONS:

FROM THE WEST:
Follow I-64 East to I-195 South.  Follow signs for Powhite Pkwy (SR-76).  Cross James River bridge ($.75 toll or Smart Tag) and follow signs for Chippenham Pkwy (south) SR-150.  Then follow detailed local directions below.

FROM THE EAST: 

Follow I-64 West to Exit 190 for I-95 South.  Follow I-95 South to Exit 67 for Chippenham Pkwy (SR-150) then follow detailed local directions below.


FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH: Follow I-95 South or North to Exit 67 for Chippenham Pkwy (SR-150).  Then follow the detialed local directions below.

DETAILED LOCAL DIRECTIONS:
Follow Chippenham Pkwy (SR-150) to exit for US 1/301 South.  Follow US 1/301 South about two miles until you see a "brown" sign on the right for "DSC Richmond Main Entrance - 400 feet."  Bear right into access road for Main Gate.  Enter Main Gate and take first left into parking area for Headquarters Bldg.  Then make an immediate right and go up the hill and around the rotray in front of the Bellwood Club to the parking areas to the left rear of the club.  A handicapped acccess ramp is on the left side of the club building. 

The Bellwood Club is a white, Georgian mansion.

PARKING:
  Info emailed by CDR John Baumgarten, USN, Ret, VCOC 3rd VP, to Presidents & Chapter Reps.  (There will be orange cones reserving spaces.)   
 

OVERNIGHT LODGING

The Defense Supply Center Richmond has a Visiting Officers Quarters (VOQ) with six (6) units. Prices are $35 for a standard unit and $45 for a VIP unit. There are presently four (4) units available for the timeframe of 10 - 11 March. To reserve one of these units call 804-279-1092 ASAP and ask for Reneé. Major credit cards accepted. The VOQ is in walking distance of the Bellwood Club.

Executive Inn & Suites is a small, modest motel directly across the street from the Main Gate of Defense Supply Center Richmond. It is fairly new, having been constructed about  3 - 4 years ago. Room rates run about $43.95 plus tax. To make a reservation call  804-271-3111.  Major credit cards accepted. Executive Inn & Suites is also within walking distance of the Bellwood Club.
