VIRGINIA 30 STARS - MOAA EXCELLENCE AWARDS - 2007 Streamers for Excellence in 2006
6 Chapters Receive 5-star Level of Excellence Awrd.

Five-Star Level-of-Excellence-Award streamers are displayed on the flags of six Virginia chapters of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).  The Excellence Awards are given for chapter excellence in 2006.  The streamers are dated 2007 (when the awards are presented).  The awards were presented individually at the Virginia Council of Chapters (VCOC) meeting Oct 12, 2007 by MOAA Marketing Director, COL Mike Jordan.  Then these group award photos were taken the next night outside the Williamsburg Inn, where the MOAA Give Me Ten Appreciation Dinner was held.  It's no coincidence that the 5-star chapters did well at the MOAA Give Me Ten campaign as well.
